Video tutorial for Karen's Once-A-Day II 1.2
|
Review
This is official description
The program lets you specify progams, web pages and files. Each will be run or opened automatically, the first time Windows starts each day, or the first time a particular user logs on each day. Start Windows, or log on, more than once in any given day and the programs, pages, and files will not be re-opened.
The following review written by one of the Software Informer contributors applies to version 1.1
Karen’s Once-A-Day ll is a program that was developed to help users avoid completing routine and iterative tasks. This small utility can run one or several programs on the first Windows start or on the first login of a particular user each day. The purpose of this application is very similar to the standard Windows startup system, but there is one serious difference. The standard Windows startup system loads a range of selected programs on each start of Windows per day, but Karen’s Once-A-Day ll does it only once a day. The program has a very simple and easy-to-use interface. There are two main functional tabs on its main window. The first one has the name of your computer and contains a list of applications that are started on the first Windows start. The second one has the name of a particular user and contains a list of applications that are started on the first login of this user. Adding a new program into the loading list is similar for the both tabs. You just press the “Add” button and fill in the required fields. The program has a detailed help file where you can find all required information about its main features. |
